  4. Object
    Stichting Droom en Daad develops initiatives, activities and projects to promote art and culture in Rotterdam and to carry out everything connected with or beneficial to those initiatives, activities and projects. The foundation is explicitly a non-profit organisation. The foundation may not make distributions to its founder or the members of its boards.
  5. Policy plan
    The object of the foundation is to develop initiatives aimed at promoting art and culture in Rotterdam and in this way to make the city even more attractive for its residents and for visitors. The foundation sees opportunities in various fields, such as music, theatre, dance, architecture, film, etc. In this perspective the foundation will focus on stimulating and investing in new projects and in providing an extra impulse to already existing programmes and activities. The foundation has a director, who leads the development of these activities together with a staff of around 10 full-time equivalents. The foundation has sufficient resources to enable it to develop these activities independently in the years ahead. It operates from it rented premises at Parkstraat 4, Rotterdam. The foundation will not attract funds from third parties. The foundation has a website on which further information about its activities can be found.

  8. Remuneration policy
    The following principles form the basis of the remuneration policy: the remuneration policy of the foundation must make it possible to attract and keep excellent personnel and to attain its objectives to the best possible extent. The remuneration policy is aimed at ensuring that the director and members of staff devote their efforts to the interests of the Foundation, giving priority to integrity and solidity. The remuneration policy is a transparent policy, applicable in structure and method for the director and all members of staff. The Foundation has no bonus policy, thirteenth month or year-end bonus and makes no lease cars and suchlike available. The Board receives no remuneration for its work.
