Soundtrack010 is the DNA of Rotterdam captured in one music composition, made by artists from Rotterdam. Rotterdam is the first metropolis with its own sound.
The track gets a prominent place in the branding toolkit of the city of Rotterdam, next to an image gallery. This way everyone can use the sound of Rotterdam for promotion of the city.
Composer Alexander van Popta (Re:freshed Orchestra) based his composition on submitted sounds from the city. The soundtrack was played by dozens of musicians at home and in the Batavierhuis. Have a look at the video here.
