Summer Serenades
Outdoor concerts for the elderly
Throughout the summer, concerts will take place beneath the balconies of Rotterdam's large elderly flats. Everyone is sitting in the front row! Musicians from the Batavierhuis, among others, will play various 'songs from the old box', given a new jazzy twist. This way, elderly people can listen to music safely from their balconies.
After a successful start in 2020, this project returned in the summer of 2021. In 2022, too, 50 Summer Serenades are planned.
