Boijmans next door
Eight museums working together
On the initiative of the Droom en Daad foundation the collection of the Boijmans Van Beuningen museum will remain accessible to the public during its renovation.
The Belasting & Douane Museum, the Chabot Museum, the Kunsthal Rotterdam, the Maritime Museum, Museum Rotterdam, the Municipal museum of Schiedam and the World museum will present pieces from the collection under the title “Boijmans next door”. At times these presentations will be combined with pieces from the hosting museum. A total of more than 500 works from the Boijmans collection will be shown in eleven exhibitions elsewhere in the period 2019-2022.
