Lockdown - poems for an unusual time

What started in April 2020 as a writing assignment in support of young Rotterdam poets and spoken word artists culminated in a unique poetry gift for residents and visitors to the city. During the first lockdown, ten word artists went in search of the words for their experience of the stagnant city. Their sharp, personal and inspiring poems have been collected in collaboration with Poetry International in the collection of poems Lockdown - gedichten voor een ongewone tijd. Customers of Rotterdam bookshops and visitors to library branches will receive the book as a gift.
