Sash by Ron van der Ende
A monumental work of art by Ron van der Ende has been placed on the facade of an apartment building in Kralingen.
The project was initiated by the residents' initiative Kunst op de Kop, which has made a case for improving the area around the Voorschoterlaan metro station. The seventeen-metre high work of art is made of local timber that has been preserved by baking it.
Sash is Ron van der Ende's first work of art in public space.
